How to Easily Fit Your Gym Routine Around Your Lifestyle
Is Your Gym Routine Becoming Non-Existent?
With the dark mornings and nights, are you now finding it hard to stay motivated when it comes to your gym routine? Maybe you have taken on more commitments at work and you do not have as much time as you used to have?
Don’t beat yourself up over it because it happens to everyone. You need to get back into it before it’s too late otherwise one thing will lead to another and the next thing you know you are cancelling your membership and eating a full tub of Ben and Jerry’s.
Although ice cream can be the answer to many of life’s problems this is not one.
Remind yourself of why you joined in the first place
If the reason why you joined the gym in the first place was to lose weight then that reason still stands. You are not going to lose weight by making excuses. Make a list of all the reasons you stopped going to the gym as much and find a solution for each one.
Excuse #1: Not enough time
Resolution: Cut down your gym routine because it doesn’t need to be hours long. If you only have half an hour when you would normally workout for an hour just do half the time on each exercise.
Excuse #2: Too much effort
Resolution: Go to the gym after work. When you get home after being at work the last thing you want to do is go to the gym. Take your gym clothes with you to work and go straight after work.
Excuse #3: I do not want to get up any earlier than I already do
Resolution: Get everything ready the night before to save time. If the morning is the only time you can workout then go to the gym on the way to work. Once you get used to getting up early it won’t bother you.
Excuse #4: I haven’t got any motivation
Resolution: Make a kick ass gym playlist the night before.
Go ahead and prove yourself wrong… you can do it.
